Coast to Coast 2016 - connect, inspire and empower
Coast to Coast is Australia's national Coastal Management conference, widely acknowledged as the premier event to inspire, unite and enhance communication between those involved in coastal, estuarine and marine planning, management and use. It offers an excellent opportunity to share original research, knowledge and experiences in coastal and marine science, policy, governance, on-ground management and volunteer initiatives.
Hosted by the Victorian Coastal Council, Coast to Coast 2016 will be innovative and inspirational, with a series of multi-streamed sessions and workshops that will enable attendees to better understand and respond to coastal and marine issues and sustainable outcomes.
Registrations are now open and we are calling for contributions to the conference program, with submissions closing on 13 May 2016.
The conference will be held in Melbourne from Monday 29th August to Thursday 1st September 2016.
The conference program is taking shape and a number of keynote speakers have already been confirmed including: the Hon. Lilly D'Ambrosio MP, Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Professor Tim Flannery and more.
